Our Mission
We are a small, family-centered practice with an emphasis on improving health and promoting wellness through all stages of life. Our philosophy is that building strong personal relationships with our patients is the foundation of quality healthcare. Through mutual respect, compassion, and understanding we believe we are better able to help our patients make the right health choices for them and their families.
Our History
Dr. Upton began her own private practice in 1998, and moved into the yellow house in 1999. The house has been through numerous changes since it was built in 1905, including the addition of the second floor, the lengthy transformation from a residence into an office, and the recent renovations completed in February of 2009.
This is what the yellow house looked like when Dr. Upton first arrived.

Kathryn Upton, MD
Dr. Upton earned her medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. She completed her residency at Lutheran General Hospital Department of Family Medicine, University of Chicago. Dr. Upton fulfilled a dream when she began her private practice in 1993.
Susan Trammell, RN, BSN
Susan earned her degree from the University of Washington in 1992. She has a strong background in pediatrics. Susan began working for Dr. Upton in 2007, but they have been friends since 1993.
